Congested..But no runny nose ???

Morning girls.

Past few days DD has become slowly more congested. Now whats weird is she only has a small cough every now and again (not frequent,. i have been coughing every now and again as well and wake up with a sore throat, not horrible but enough to make me make a yucky face)

Now the only boogers i see is when she sneezes, then its all over me.

Could it be teething? Or the beginnings of a cold?? She has just cut her second tooth, during the day she can be a tad clingy (i cant leave the room, she doesnt have to see me btu as soon as i leave the room its all out war :rolleyes: )

I have given her nurofen twice a day for two days, I wont be giving her a day one today, see how she copes.

I will be going to the doctor as well today when I go get more nappies but just seems weird to sound congested (her chest) but have no runny noise or spluttering coughs..

Any ideas? :confused:

Oh thanks for that. I might bring her swing into the bathroom and sit her in that whilest i have my shower. hopefully that can help :fingerscrossed:


Will Vicks Baby Balasam help??

and unfortnuatly shes only 8months old would she swallow when i tell her to? heh

:laughing: Its ok. I dont think my brain is fully functional until 12pm anyway. But then Dr Phil or something comes on and im dumbed down again :sleeping:

I will bring out the baby balsam then and put it on her. She doesnt seem to be in pain for her foods or bottles though sot hats a good sign. I honestly think I've been doing the coughing for her

did she 100% recover in between this and having bronchiolitis? Savannah is exactly as you've described and she had bronchiolitis a few weeks ago now, seemed to clear up about 80% but still sounds chesty.. no other symptoms though. For savannah I think shes just still recovering from the bronchiolitis, possibly the same thing for your DD as they're both bubs and it does just keep hanging around.
