How do you react when she wees? Do you rush her to the toilet? I used the 3 day TT method and with that method you teach them to recognise the feeling of needing to go by rushing them to the potty/toilet when they have accidents. Maybe you could try something like that just to help her recognise her body's signals?
It's very normal for them to be distracted by playing and be 'too busy' to go to the toilet, DS did that heaps in the first 6 to 9 months after being toilet trained (he was TT'd at 25 months). It's been a year now and he's brilliant, seems much more switched on and almost never has damp jocks.

Well she normally just takes herself to the toilet and wees.. even poos and wipes her own bum.. she is Miss independant.. half the time she will just sit there and wee and then just takes her knickers off and change them... but most of the time she goes to the toilet without incident... it just seems she has stages where she goes back to weeing her knickers which she has been doing for 3 or so days now :(

My DD is 3 and a bit and she has been TT'd since about 20 months (day) and just on 12 months Night she still has days when she'll wet herself I think she just gets distracted or doesn't want to leave what she is doing until it is too late. But I do remember her going heap and heaps in the early days - lots of little wees until she learnt to hold on for a while longer.
If you have ruled out anything untoward (UTI etc) then I think it is just a part of the learning -going from the oh I need to wee NOW to okay I'll need to go to the loo in a minute.
Oh and my DD is the same will take herself to the loo and sometimes I won't even know she has gon until I go to use the loo myself - still working on the wiping which is getting a tad frustrating as often she has been and gone before I realise and get to remind her to wipe.
