Hi guys, I have what i think is a blind pimple, its on my belly, well sternum area, im a bit chubby, not alot but its right in the line in where when i sit or bend i get a little roll, i've had a blackhead there for ages that wont come out, and i've noticed a lump or two under and next to it and now its tender feeling since ive poked at it since i've found it.

I have an Obgyn appt on the 10th so i was going to wait until then and ask his/her opinion, but should i go sooner? its not painful unless i press it, and i only noticed it because i was touching the blackhead and trying to get rid of it like usual, im 17weeks preggo so i dont know if its safe to use a hot towel on my belly to try and get the heat to draw it out because i heard that works.

Is there anything else i can try? or could it be something worse? i'm a bit of a hypochondriac and i'm worried it might be something worse then just a deep pimple :(

Heres where it is. Sorry about the crap drawing im yet to get my graphics tablet ;p

Magnoplasm. (product looks like this (http://www.towers.net.au/shop.asp?id=2582&action=viewproduct)) You get it from the chemist. If it is a blind pimple, it will draw the crap our of it.

It is a little fidly, but it really really works. I put a little ball of it on (did it out of the jar with a spoon and roll it into a ball between your fingers). Cover the spot with it, then cover the magnoplasm with cotton wool and secure with tape. In 12 hours it should be greatly reduced, maybe even gone. Mine usually are.

I would just go to your GP and get him/her to check it out, dont let him/her touch it, just get it checked, could just be an infected sweat gland as you said its in an area that may get a little bit of friction. try not tp play with it too much, you might make it worse, germs etc..

If you MUST try and squeeze it, i dont see why a warm washer would hurt, just dont burn yourself! ;)

Thanks guys! i might try the magnoplasm tomorrow, and if that makes no difference ill go to the GP on sun, we are a bit tight for cash before payday so i want to try and get it closer to the surface if it is a blind pimple before spending the $70 at the docs if they suggest the same sorta cream.

Thanks so much for the quick responses! im such a worry wart!
