4 year old eye test

:wave: My son is nearly 4 and the mchn said I need to get his eyes tested before we see her. I am just wondering how they perform the eye test?

Using shapes or if they can recognise letters they'll use that. When we had DS's done he played silly a bit and pretended not to know the letters so the optometrist got this big flip book type thing out with basic shapes on it instead.

They do it with pictures, eg duck, cat, bird etc.
