View Full Version : When Did Your Little One Get Teeth
I just wanted to find when your little ones got their first tooth.
My nephew is 5 months and he has his two bottom teeth and a friends baby is also 5 months and she has two teeth too, however my little one is almost 8 months old and doesn't have a single tooth in his head!!! :laughing: He doesn't even have lumpy gums. For someone with no teeth though, he can certainly bite hard! :devil6:
My lil one got his first tooth dead on 6 months!now hes 9 months old and has 7 teeth:eek:
7 teeth, my goodness. I bet he has a beautiful smile!
yeah he has 4 up top and 3 bottom.he looks very cheeky when he smiles:p ppl always comment on his teeth.i feel sorry for him-7 teeth in 3 months is a bit rough!!
DD is 8 months and no teeth in sight over here either!

My son was 6 months when he cut 2 teeth, one up top one bottom, then 7 months when he cut his other 2, one top one bottom, 12 months went by, and he is now 12 months and last week he cut another top tooth, and today cut yet another top one............ so 6 in total, the new ones are only just showing though......
My son too was a really good chewer from 4 months without teeth, he done really well......
It just takes time....and time....and time.....lol

tyler got her frist tooth the day before she turned 8months, she will be 11months 2morrow:smiliedance: :smiliedance: and she now has 6
My DD got her first tooth at 7.5 mths, her second 10 days later and then nothing for three months and in the last couple of weeks she has got three!! So nearly 1 and only 5 teeth with the 6th on its way!!

my lil man got his first tooth when he was 5 months old. The other 7 came pretty quickly after that. He is 9.5 months old and has 8 and pretty sure number 9 is on its way!

Summer got 2 teeth at once at 6 months. Shes now 16 months & has 8 teeth all up :smiliedance:

its alright... lucas is 1 week off 11 months and is only just teething his first 2 teeth. his top 2 and i hope he gets them in the next few days. all babies are different

My DS is 10 1/2 months and has none... my little 'gummy bear'!!!:yes:
DS got his first tooth a week before his 1st bday. the next four came the following week.

Riley got his first tooth before 4 months, he already had 14 when he was 1, has 18 now. I think that he is getting the big ones right at the back now, but they keep coming up and then going back down

Liv got her first at 10 months and alas, she is nearly 11 1/2 months with no signs of any others :crying: . She will be the one tooth bandit on her birthday:D .
DD didn't get her first tooth until she was 12 months old....they are now coming in quick succession.:eek:
I noticed that my 7.5 mth old had his 1st tooth on Sunday - I must be ultra relaxed now 'cos I keep being surprised at his milestones. I thought - is he really that old already ?
My kids varied but my eldest daughter had 13 teeth by her 1st birthday - all her baby photos are smile-less 'cos her mouth must have been hurting so much !
Wyatt got his first tooth, six months to the day.

my little darling got her first tooth at 10 months (the top right) and it was followed closely but the top left. now at 8 days to her 1st birthday she still only has the 2 at the top with the ones either side trying to come through and the 2 bottom ones also trying to come out.

DS1 got his first at 15 weeks old and DS2 got his first at 14 weeks old, now DD has been teething since 2 weeks old and still nothing she is 3 1/2 months old.
All babies are different.
My older kids got their teeth fairly early on at 4-5mths.
My youngest has 4 teeth and he is 9mths tomorrow.
He was a gummeeebear a month ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My DS got his first tooth about 6 mths and had 8 at 8mths then stopped until 12 mths when he cut 5 in one week. Now he is 15 mths and has 16 teeth only 4 more to go and he has a full set.:yelclap:
Dont worry too much most other babies i know his age have anywhere between 4 and 8 and Ive met one parent whose DS didnt cut her first until 16 mths.
DS was 17mths when he got his first. He finally had a full set just after his 3rd birthday. The last ones to come thru included 2 on the bottom towards the front, he looked kinda funny when he smiled.
DD is 8.5mths now and got her first 2 teeth a couple of weeks ago. no signs of any more tho.

LOL Kym, Matthew did that. He would get 8 teeth in 2wks, then go about 8mths without getting any more, then he would get 8 more and repeat this over and over till he had all 20.
