Antibiotics for 7 month old

Hi,

My 7 month old DD has been on antibiotics (amoxil) for a few days for a throat infection which had her throwing up for 24hours. She isn't sick anymore but has terrible, runny, stinky poo and is off her food. I think she also has thrush. Does anyone have any suggestions of things I can do to help counteract the effects of the antibiotics and help her little body through this tough time?

I think you can get a probiotic powder from the chemist that might help. Called inner health plus. Not sure how old bubs needs to be to be able to use it, but I would ask at the chemist. Haven't tried it myself, so not sure if it works, but in theory it might help.

Inner health have a probitotic for bubs, if you think she has thrush go back to the Dr. & ask for a script for Nilstat to clear it up.
