Hi, unfortunately we no longer have any independent midwives in the Hunter though you may find a couple from Sydney who may be willing to travel.
Let me know if you need any help sourcing numbers.:)

Are there really no private midwives in the hunter? I know someone who was doing it about a year ago, I will ask around and get back to you if I find any.

Was she from the CC? There was one that worked out of there but she (from what I'd heard) is no longer doing homebirths.
Other than that we have no one- the last IM we had here was employed by Belmont Birth Centre.
