I was wondering if anyone else has had a bad experience with this company :(

I ordered a phone from them on the 18th Feb and they took the payment and sent me a receipt straight away but I have not heard from them since. I tried to contact them by phone (automated message) email (automated reply) and there is no other way to contact them!

I read on another forum that a lot of people have had problems with them and contacting them and waiting times etc. I ended up getting another email address to try and I did and asked what was going on with my order.

The reply I got said that they had emailed me to organise a refund but that if I gave them MORE money, they'd send me a better phone within 2 days  I told them I didn't want a different phone and asked what was wrong with the one I ordered? No reply... so I sent another email asking if the refund could be put through.. still nothing.

I'm really upset. I've been without a phone for over 2 weeks now and I have been waiting for this phone which I guess is not going to come but I have no money to buy another one because they have all my money. What should I do? :(

Oh, and DON'T buy from this company!!!!

I would be forwarding this information to the office of fair trading in your state (with all supporting emails) - they sound dodgy. Good business practice would be for them to give you the next model up as a substitute for what you have paid for and they clearly cant provide. Good Luck

Thanks guys I FINALLY got a reply back from them late last night asking for my BSB and account number so they could do the refund this morning. If the money isn't in my account by tomorrow, I'm going to report them and talk to my bank. I am usually so trusting of these online businesses and this has been a real eye opener. I'll always pay the extra $$ to have that peace of mind from now on and deal with REAL people.

Hmm I wouldn't be giving them my account details...is there another way you can get the refund?

It should be safe... they can't GET any money with those numbers, only make a deposit. They are the same numbers you give employers etc.

Be careful with giving them your bank details, they can do dodgy things with those numbers. I would call the office of fair trading or the ombudsman and ask their advice? Did you pay via bpay, or on a cc? If you did, you can go to your bank and lodge a dispute.

I paid with Bpay. I'll see if they come good with their promise but if nothing by tomorrow I'll get in touch with the bank and the office of fair trading and report them.

They can refund your money via paypal, I wouldn't give out my bank account number :)
