we just got invited for an interview with Brats and I am looking for some reviews about them. The good and the bads :-). Before I fork out $550 I want to make sure we get into a good agency. Thanks.

I dont know personally but i KNOW i wouldnt hand out $550 without some guarentee to make some money back off it. In writing and all. Far to risky!!

3 years ago we forked out the 'big bucks' to the above mentioned agency with no guarantee. They were pretty up front saying there was not much work for children under 5, but on the day you feel the hype and pressure and the compliments they pile on your child. Throughout the year, I regularly tried calling them but they never called us. We got no calls, no work and no money, so just make sure this is what you are happy to live with after the year is up. companies like this are agencies and therefore cannot guarantee work for your child - it's not up to them who gets the job, its up to the CLIENT on what kind of child they want for their ad/photo shoot/magazine/commercial/whatever. all the agency can do is answer casting calls and promote your child as much as possible. at the end of the day its the client that chooses the most suitable child to fit their brief, not the other way around.

i'd be very surprised to find out how any agency can guarantee work for your child, because thats just not the way agencies are run.
