Hi everyone,

I am sure one of you lovely ladies would know the answer to my question.

What position is your cervix when you are ovulating?

Sorry if TMI but when i had my period the cervix was high, should the cervix be low when ovulating, so you can reach it easier :D ???????

Thanks for your help

When you are o'ing your cervix should be high soft and open, for some people that means during o they cant even feel it.
Also you should check at the same time each day, as i have read that sometimes during the day your cervix can move up or down normally, could be wrong tho :o
I found it took several weeks of feeling the difference each day to know when i was oing, also your cervix can be soft and open when AF is coming too, well mine is.
Hope this helps :D

I've been wondering this too. I had a feel for the first time today as I think I'm about to O, but have no idea what it normally feels like. It just felt like a soft round protrusion about 2cm wide. I always thought the cervix was like an opening, but this felt like something was sticking out. Sorry for the really dumb question.

You check it with your (very clean) finger. It's just like inserting a tampon, only you don't have a tampon (obviously) if it feels like your nose, it's firm, if it's hard to reach it's high. The rest you just have to keep track of it for you body for a cycle or two and work out what it's like for you. Don't do it too often though or it can distrupt the balance of this delicate region apparently.

These are my favourite links about it (including photos)
