Anchor Points 1994 (NJ) Pajero GLS

Dh bought the above mentioned car yesterday but he can't find the child restraint anchor points?!? Can anyone tell me where they are?!?

we have had a long wheel base and short wheel base pajero. they dont look like normal ones they r to the side of the back of the car if u get what i mean... and its like a oval metal ring.... Well thats what we used anyway

And its the same in the toyota Kulgar as well that we have

Mines a 1995 Pajero and our anchor points are at the top of the back door not on the roof just below. We have two there and one in the middle of the floor at the edge by the door.

Clairesmum what you have described sounds like the luggage tie down points not anchor points.

check at the base of the back seats too We hired a car not long ago and thats where they were.

I agree they are the luggage tie down points clairesmum and these are not meant to be used for child restraints as they are not designed to take that sort of load (they are only rated to 20kgs so even a tiny baby plus a carseat stopping suddenly would put the force well beyond that point).
