Just curious to know, how many children have inner's or outter's???
Mine had an outty when he was born, then it went to a inny when he was about two months old, now, he has an outty again!!

Why do i get stuck with the outty?? Lol
It's not completely out, but its not completelt in.. It doesnt look that bad, i think its quite cute! But he likes to pull at it.

Is it normal for it to go in and out?????

Ollie has an innie too! LOL

The midwife at our antenatal classes told us that its hereditory usually. If outies run in your family, your baby may have one....if not, then its highly unlikely.

Both my girls have outties. I don't think they look funny at all. They are the cutest little things from their heads to their belly buttons to their toes.

My two oldest both have innies now, my DD had an umbilical hernia which fixed itself at about 6 months. Aussie has a hernia too, so I won't know whether he'll have an innie or an outie till the hernia resolves.

It depends on as to how he is lying, or so on.....it isn't fully in but doesnt sstick out enough to grab it, most of the time it is in, unless he has a fully tummy then it tend to protrude a bit....

It's cute either way.........

mine has an outie. He had an umbilical hernia which seems to have resolved, but has left a bit of skin still sitting on the surface. It looks cute though.

DD has a bit of both...but it's more an outie than an innie. It's not like her stomach just suddenly has an "outie bulge" and that's it...it does go in a little bit...just not enough to call it an innie IMO.

DP has a shallow innie (you can see his "knot")...and i have a really deep innie (before I had DD, you couldn't feel the "knot" at all...now my skin is really lose so you can if you push really hard...but you can't see it).

So why does a belly button, either go in or out??
My Dh and I both have innies, no one in either family has an outty, but Damien, lol... Dh thinks i have some explaining to do now!! Lol
