I have cried today for a poor little 18mths old baby.
Heard today that a little 18mth old had a lit cigarette pushed into his eye by a homeless piece of scum!
Don't know how to find a link (read it in the Sydney Morning Herald and The Australian papers this morning).
What a scum piece of you know what to do that to anyone let alone a baby!!

Yeah, I heard about it too. :crying:
Is anyone safe anymore?
I saw it too, how terrible, that poor little bubba, they are so trusting and innocent, I think he is going to be ok though, thank goodness.

Thats just sick! It sickens me how people are so cruel, but especially when they are like that to children, elderly and animals who cannot defend themselves!
Ohh....it makes me want to throw up!

Hi Miss Understood,
Its terrible isn't yet, I couldn't believe either that someone could do something like that to such an innocent person. That said, I can't believe alot of things that have been going on lately. I don't think the news has ever affected me as much as it does now since having my DD. I find myself tearing up nearly every night because there is always some horrible story on. I'm beginning to wonder if there really are more evil than good people out there or if it is just that the media get better ratings when they play these horrible stories. I try to believe that good and honest people still do out number the baddies but it is so hard sometimes. I get so scared of what it is going to be like when my little one grows up, what kind of a world is she going to be facing. I guess it is up to all of us mums to try and raise our children as decent and honest as we can. There will always be a few bad apples but hopefully we can try to make a little bit of a difference so our kids stand a fighting chance.
Sorry for going on but I have found myself feeling very depressed this morning and last nights story on the little 18 month old is the straw that broke the camels back so to speak.
Has anyone out there got a great human interest story that doesn't result in some kind of violence or let down. If so I would LOVE to hear it. :crying:
This totally P!$$.. me off what a jerk! (i would like to say another word)!!!!
No excuse for that kind of behavoir, obviously he may need to be locked up into some mental instituition.
