Charting CM **May be TMI**

Sorry if this is going to go a bit too much into detail but would appreciate some help.
I want to chart my cm this month as well as my temps. When checking do you actually have to insert a finger to check or do you just wipe around the outside of your vagina, Some say to do one or the other on the net and it has me confused. After a period I find I am dry but only for a few days. After that I seem to me moist down there (only inspecting from the outside) but if I inspect inside:o (sorry) I have creamy looking CM...

I never seem to get EWCM when I inspect inside, but I always seem to be watery by checking from the outside every day of my cycle except the few days following AF.

I think I remember Nuddle giving a great explanation of what 'creamy', 'watery' etc looked like a few weeks ago. Maybe she'll tell you again. But if I recall correctly, she was just looking at whatever was left in her undies (sorry TMI).

Ah right, so you can just go that way too then? I do know that at a certain time on my cycles I have more creamy stuff in my undies and before this it isn't as creamy but more "wet patches" Gosh I hope I am not embarrasing anyone here :laughing:
And then after the wet bit it goes creamy again and then back to nothing.

Maybe I should do it this way do you think?

That's what I do, and it seems to be reliable enough, especially if you can tell the diference between stages, as you certainly seem to be able to.

Im one of these "stick the fingers in" girls - i dont seem to get enough on my knickers to check it properly. Or if i do its normally dry by the time i have to pee (i dont pee all that often)

But if you do get it on your knicker its probably the easiest way to look at it.

It should be DRY for a few days after AF, then it should get STICKY, then CREAMY - like lotion i suppose, then WATERY/EGGWHITE, and then back it goes again, CREAMY, STICKY, DRY.

Well thats what it does for me!
