Hi Kyannas Mum,
I am in much the same situation as you, I M/C at 8 weeks, 5 and a half weeks ago and My Gyno gave me the Ok to TTC again 3 and a half weeks ago. I am still waiting for the arrival of AF, or to get a Positive HPT. My prev cycles were only 28- 31 days long, so I am wondering when my body will get back to normal, I have been Temping and It looks like I have not even O'd yet. I have asked my Doctor about this and they have said that AF should return within 4- 8 weeks after a M/C- so I am in the waiting game - It is worse than the 2ww.
Good luck

I'm sorry for your loss :hugs:
Most of the time you won't get a true AF much before 4 weeks after a miscarriage. It takes a couple of weeks for your HCG to return to zero before you can release an egg. When it does you'll ovulate, and then you will have your period roughly two weeks later as in a normal cycle.
So generally 4 weeks is the minimum - any bleeding before this is most likely to be related to the m/c and not yet a real period (ie an egg released).
It's normal for some women to go 8-10 weeks before AF returns.
In my case I got mine pretty much 4 weeks to the day from my miscarriages.
Hugs I hope things sort themselves out for you soon the waiting is torture I know.
