Hi everyone :)

I am, in my next cycle, going to start ovulation induction as we have been TTC for 2 years with no success. DF has no semen issues and i have been given the all clear as well so we fall into that lovely category of 'unexplained infertility'. I have a regular 29 day cycle and dont have any problems ovulating so it was recommended through Melbourne IVF that we give OI a shot. I will be injecting myself with puregon, which i am pretty nervous about.

Anyway, i was just wondering if anyone else is doing OI at the moment or if anyone has had any success in falling pregnant using OI.

Cheers!:D

I am going to start IUI begining of March.

If you go to the IVF threads you'll be able to get more support there as all the ladies there have been there and done that so to speak.

Good luck.

Hi,

I wanted to let you know that I have a beautiful baby daughter (8 months now) thanks to OI. :yelclap:

The first injections with the "pen" needle become surprisingly easy after the first few times - in fact if you pierce your skin quickly instead of slowly you hardly feel it at all. The trigger injection is a little bit more stingy but also are not too bad.

I am in the TWW after my first round of OI to try for number 2 as we speak - hopefully do the beta on tue 22nd so fingers crossed.

I wish you all the best and look forward to hearing updates from you as you go through your cycle.
