Hi

Did any of you get really nervous when you due date crept very near? I have 2 kids already - one by SVD and one by c/s.

My obst. has agreed to let me go until Thursday and if I go into labour by myself (believe me we are trying everything to get it started - sorry tmi:eek: ) I can give it a go (no heroics he made me promise!).
If nothing has happened by Thursday I am booked for c/s (because I have a couple of other concerns due to recent abdominal surgery vs. big-ish baby, not because I really want to).

I don't know what I am more nervous about - if I have a VBAC it is what I want to do but I am not sure if I can go through it, but I am still dead scared of having another c/s since the last one was pretty hideous experience even though it was supposedly "elective" (a really BAD term to use IMO).

Did any of you feel the same?

It's difficult to know what you should do since you are due so imminently - so :hugs: to you!!

I hope and pray that you go into labour naturally asap!

Maybe you should check out www.birthrites.org as they have alot of resources on vbac and also you can check out their c/sec birthplan - which is a beautifully empowered birthplan, and discuss these options with your OB, and see if you can make the whole experience (if it, God Forbid, leads down that track for you) more enjoyable.

I hope and pray for you to have the beautiful vbac you desire very very very soon :fingerscrossed: !
