I am taking the twins on a trip in a few weeks and they are too big to share the portacot we have. It is pretty old and bulky too!

Has anyone used a pop up travel cot?

They seem a little smaller so I could take two without taking up my uncles whole house :P.

Any suggestions would be wonderful.

i think it would be waste of money, unless u know someone u can borrow it from?..maybe buy those inflatable double beds when u get there, that way if you ever have guests, you can still use it?

I am a bit confused. My bubs would roll (and one would crawl) off the side of an inflatable matress! They are 9 months old.

when i was in that situation, i just pushed one side of the bed against the wall and blocked the otherside with a long body pillow and it worked for me..but my kids tend to cuddle up to each other when they sleep and never woke to crawl off till morning..
Hmm..sorry i couldnt help.

We have a kinderkot and have used it for a weekend away to sydney, plus a week camping.

DS sleeps well in it, although since he's able to stand up I needed to take a little extra time to settle him in there some nights, as they're realy easy to push over from the inside (not in a way that they fall over, but he would lean on the walls and be able to touch the ground IYKWIM)?

I do recommend them though.... so easy to pack up and carry with you, unlike a portacot. Ours is the size of a handbag when folded up and I can carry it with my little finger! And they're completely mozzieproof!

shock can you hire a couple from somewhere near uncles house? then you dont have to stress about what to do with after and should be heaps cheaper.... just a thought... have a nice trip xo

we also have a kinderkot and love it! DS sleeps in it when we go camping, friends for dinner, travel... love how easy to pack and light it is too. they can sleep in them until they're about four, and after that they can use it as a playtent or something.
Settling DS in it hasnt been any trouble, but thats probably because whenever he sleeps in it we're usually somewhere very exciting and he's so tired he's asleep before I put him down LOL

He lives in a country type area, I cannot find a place to hire that stuff anywhere near. I might check out Sydney though and just pick up and drop off on the way through.
