Hi,

Hubby is in the army and we have 2 boys who are 4 and 6. We are looking at moving mid year and I was hoping to find out which are the best schools and pre schools in the area.

DS6 is currently in Grade 1 in QLD, but may have to go down to Kindergarten so not sure about that process at the moment. Have contacted a few schools and there is a bit of conflicting information because he is born in January.

Any info would be good about schools so I can do a bit more research before we get there.

Thanks
Em

Hi there, DH is also in the army and based at Holsworthy and I refuse to live in the area, too many young single guys partying and causing problems. We live in Concord and love it here. All the best for your move.

Hi, thanks for the heads up.
We have lived in the area for about 18 months before and had a few army problems, but that was mainly to do with the unit DH was based with.

I didn'd mind the suburb itself, but I think generally all DHA houses are based in the Wattle Grove/Holsworthy suburbs so that would realistically be the locality of our residence.

I am currently pregnant... cant wait till bubba is born.
I live in Wattle Grove.. have my whole life.

I went to Holsworthy Public and Primary school, I found the highschool ok... primary school was good. I cant remember the preschool that was best, but it was close to the train station. My sister and brother went to it.

Also, I find Wattle Grove to be quiet, well my street is anyway. There are alot of mummies here too. :)
