DS seems to be leaking more then usual,he has started sleeping from 10:30 til 5:30 but when he wakes he is wet and i think that is the only reason he wakes then. HE wears Huggies Infant size he is 5.5kgs and they suit 4-8kgs. Should i try the next size up,Crawlers they are 6-11 kgs so would they fit him? Are cloth anymore absorbent? Help!!Please. We tried Babylove and he gets 1 1/2 hours if i am lucky.

My ds is a heavy wetter aswell. You could try the next size up. What I do is buy those absorbant nappy liners from woolies & stick one of those inside his night nappy. It helps a lot. Dh calls them his "man pads" !! :o

There are some excellent cloth nappies around for nights. On my dd I use green kids nappies & I havn't had any dramas with them. (ds is too big for them now... he's 2)

www.greenkids.com.au if you are interested in taking a look. :)

I agree with Beck. My DD (3months) leaks through a huggies in the crawler size in 4 hours at night, she will last a good 8 or more hours in the Greens. They are really great. Otherwise Baby Beehinds are also really good. http://www.babybeehinds.com.au

My DD had lots of 'Leaking Through Issues':banghead: with Huggies and that is why I started my quest to changed over to cloth fitteds and pockets - Baby Beehinds, Cute Tooshies Cuddlebuns and GreenKids pockets (that and the constant forking over the $$$ for disposables was a great reason to change to cloth)
If you do want to perservere with the disposables you could try the next size up or try Woolies Select Nappies or Aldi Mamia (much better in terms of disposables in my opinion).

Good luck

I am mum to a little pee monkey aswell

I ended up putting a clothie over the disposable one for over nighttime.

After buying a 12 pack and a couple of snappis the ongoing expense is minimal. :yelclap:

Thanks every one,I think we will try the next size up in huggies but am seriously thinking the clothies will be the way to go.
Although the "man pads" might work.:D

baby beehinds are GREAT for heavy wetters as have already been suggested if you do decide to try clothies.. and the hemp ones are 20% off atm so nows the time to buy and try! :)
