Im still getting very dark lines on HPT?

Is this normal? I had termination on Friday. Im feeling more pregnancy hormones now than even before, so I took another HPT and it was a very dark line. As dark as when I first tested. Im getting my hopes up thinking it must be meant to be but this could be normal, is it?:eek::confused::bfp:

I am not 100% but can't it take a few days even weeks for the HCG to leave your system? I know when I have m/c it takes a few days for the tests to come back negative.

Maybe if you are unsure go and see your doctor just to get checked out.

When I had my MC there was still a slight trace of HCG in my system a week later and I was only 5 weeks.

A close friend of mine was still testing pos 3 weeks after her termination, although she was 12 weeks along.

It will take a couple of weeks for the hormones to leave your system.

When I had my abortion yesterday :( they said you can have a positive pregnancy test up to 3 weeks afterwards.

I had a second line for 4 weeks after a d&c (missed m/c) @ 9 weeks. I found testing with a digital test a good indication that the hcg was leaving my system as they are less sensitive than the other tests (which can show up a second line for a long time afterwards).
