Thanks, not sure what to think as last few days have heard some negative things, that they are way overpriced for not much and they are not very professional. Guess I will see on Sunday hey?

Have you considered Peppermint Bay? Its SOOOO beautiful down there and I thought the prices were quiet reasonable. Plus they are family friendly! They will organise meals for the kids, and also have high chairs!
Steven and I took a friend there for lunch a few weeks ago, I think I paid $70 for 3 meals and 3 alcholic drinks. I thought that was pretty good. Steven had a HUGE burger with fries and chilli sauce (YUM!) Damien had a Steak with lots of chips and I got a pizza! YUM!
Beautiful inside, and lovely view and there is a nice *pond* out the back that you could probably have some photos at as well! Plus the jetty...etc...

Hey Kristy
Have you considered The Beach down in Blackmans Bay? They have an upstairs section for private functions and its right on the beach (as the name suggests)....its very pretty!!!

I know you ahve said Peppermint Bay is too far away but it really is woerth the trip. It only takes 20-25 minutes to get here and as Mischief says it really is the most beautiful of settings.
I spent the whole day there the other day as my son was poorly but desparately wanted to go on the school trip to the Woodbridge Marine place so I agreed he could go but I would wait next door in case he needed to come home. They were very welcoming of us and very tolerant considering I was there all day and only bought a couple of things!
Definitely worth a visit!
I am not very clued up on places in Hobart or the area for weddings but I am sure you will find the right place!

Wellll Peppermint Bay sure sounds divine but way to expensive for us! We have other things we need to save up for too, wedding car and a house deposit so got to be realistic unfortunately :o
