Breastfeeding and brown discharge... sorry if TMI!

I'm exclusively BF and my bub is nearly 14 weeks old. For about 4 days now I've had a brown discharge... is this my period coming back? Any ideas would be appreciated :goodvibes:

It's certainly not impossible. I got my period back at 9 weeks post-partum with my 2nd, bleeding stopped 4 weeks prior to that, and I was breastfeeding at LEAST 2 hourly round the clock. So yeah, possible.

Did your post-partum bleeding settle down okay?

Yep, I've had nothing for at least 8 weeks now. Would it come back brown? This is what's confusing me :confused:.

Everyone is different, I agree with PP, its possible AF is coming back. I got mine back after 4 & 3 months (2 pgs)

If its a strong brown colour, it might be old blood, from my experience, otherwise I don't really know, sorry! I would give it a week max and if something hasn't happened, see your GP.
