Hi everyone....I have just finished my first round of Clomid 50 mg days 3-7, we are trying for baby 3 and I have had two other babies using Clomid both times on first cycle so I'm hoping third time lucky. Not sure why I can't get preg without it, I have regular periods etc. but just need the extra boost. We've moved here from Canada (hubby is Australian) and a bit homesick right now and haven't met any friends to chat with about all of this.....fell free to share your stories I'd love to hear them!!!:D

Welcome to Australia! How do you like it here so far?
I'm on clomid and this is my 7th cycle. I'm getting a bit over it now lol.
I haven't got a success story for you as yet but hopefully it's not too far away.

Welcome! :australia-flag-06:
I'm a clomid success story. I got pregnant on my second round.
I had AWFUL side effects, including bleeding ovaries and hyper-ovulation. I don't have Poly-cystic ovaries.... I just never got a period... Ever... luckily there are drugs for that!!
Good luck and I hope you have a short journey :hugs:
Hi Crystal
I have PCOS, my DS was a metformin baby and this time the doc has put me on clomid.
I'm on my 3rd round so far. I got preg on my first round but unfortunately had a miscarriage. Fingers crossed this is the month for all of us!
Have you had any side effects from clomid? I have been really lucky and havent really had any. I have had sore nipples (sorry tmi) and AF type pains around the time of ov, but that's it.
Good luck, I hope you get your BFP really soon!

Zultbear: I bet you are over the whole Clomid thing, chin up and keep trying it really is worth all of this trouble. I still look at my kids and think they're the greatest thing I ever did. I love it here it just is really funny to hear hubby's accent all around me now, there's so many variations of it and the weather is fantastic!!! Coming from Canada this is like paradise, no snow, ice or snow days gotta love it :D
Skyblue: wow you didn't have a good go with it did you? I don't remember side effects last time I took them but I'm really sick to my stomach this time and a bit moody..lol. I get a period and its regular to the day but for whatever reason I just don't get pregnant without a boost, which isn't so bad really. I've had levels chacked and they were all normal but I haven't taken BC since I was 18 and the only two babies were the two I took Clomid with. So in the end I was told it was unexplained, but no issues with PCOS for me either. I hope you have a very short journey as well and all we can do is keep trying.
Jonay: PCOS must be very frustrating to deal with, I'm very lucky in that I don't have that problem mine's just unexplained. This is my first round and I hope my last because it hasn't been pleasant...lol...I feel sick and my side is sore, I just don't remember any of this. I think being a bit homesick off and on at times has made me weepy...lol...I cried through the Opening Olympic Ceremonies and yet I love it here so go figure  its just been a rollercoaster. Good luck and I really hope you have success this time around.
