New to Brisbane - any weekend catch ups?

hi, I've recently moved to Brisbane with my hubby and beautiful almost 18 month old boy.. I'm working fulltime for the next six months but really want to meet some other mums/families. Does anyone catchup with other mums on the weekend? Open for other suggestions too!!
We're doing swimming lessons, but that's it so far.
I'm 33. We live in Oxley.

I'm in the western suburbs (Kenmore), with a 17-month-old son.

I work almost full time, so weekends are good.

Do you ever go to Sherwood Forest Park (this is the second time I've mentioned it tonight - I must sound obsessed with it...:D)? It's quite nice.

I haven't been to that park but only because I don't really know many places yet!! But sounds nice. I would be interested in catching up for sure!

Hey there - i actually have another thread going with some more people interested in catching up on the weekends.
(I started one thread, nothing happened.. then started another and eventually got replies to both).
I'll suggest Sherwood Forest Park as a meet up spot.
Would next Sunday - March 14 suit you? or the following Sunday?
