Your thread was a few days ago so no doubt DD has gone now (or exploded):D.
We're having the same trouble with (DD 4 1/2 yrs). Lately she's only been going every 6 - 7 days. Drives us nuts - and she is a cranky little miss.
I wish I could help. At the moment we are trying the "you're a big girl and big girls need to do lots of poos. It helps your body be healthy." We have reached an agreement that she will sit on the toilet every day and try. She doesn't have to do a poo, but she has to try hard because she is a big girl.
I've bought a can of pear juice from Woolworths and she has a glass every day now (read somewhere it is a softener). She went after 3 days last time. Hopefully that will now become the norm. I doubt we'll ever make it daily with her. Oh, and we give her LOTS of praise when she does and a reward - like back at TTing time (lots of $1 cheap gifts hidden in our bedroom) - but you're already doing that too.
BTW - We've always found that if she eats a few Kiwi fruits she will go in an hour or two (I mean like 5 or 6).
I have had this problem with my 20 month old for a few months now. I give him pure prune juice (check ingredients - no water added) and this usually does the trick.
I then realised that he was "traumatised" by the previous experience so he was holding on. So I now give him a little prune juice every day so that he can't hold on and he is now in the habit of going. Hope that helps!

I'm having trouble with my son doing poos on the toilet aswell. He's really got me at my wits end today!! He's quite good with wee's, and started pooing on the toilet but then stopped. He hasn't had any bad experiences with it (unless it happened during his one day a week at kindy - but he usually holds it for home!), he was enjoying smarties as a reward for going, then he just started refusing! He waits for a nappy to go on at bed time and then does it!:hair: He wont eat prunes or drink prune juice, but now that I've read this thread I'll try pear juice.
He's been crying now for half an hour because his belly is sore. Of course it is!! I really don't know what to do, I gave in and put a nappy on him then rang my Mum in tears. He still hasn't done anything!!
