Should we start pushing?

DD is 2.5 and has been using a potty or toilet at daycare for quite a number of months. However, at home she refuses to use the toilet at home. She knows what to do and the purpose of it, but she just wont do it. Im due to have our 2nd baby in july and was wondering seen as though DD 1 knows how to use a toilet, she we start pushing her a bit? Up until now I have let her go at her own pace figuring she will do it when she is ready, but now im hoping she will be using a potty or toilet at least during the day by the time baby is born.

Am i wrong for wanting to push her a bit?
