Newcastle Private Obstetricians

Hi Girls

I am looking for a new ob who delivers at Newcastle Private. I delivered there with DS last year and had a wonderful ob Dr Docker who sadly passed away last year. I also loved Newcastle Private and definately want to deliver there again.

Any recomendations of obstetricans would be appreciated (also preferably ones who work closer to the hosptal or even maitland as dr docker was in belmont - a little far away!)

I started to see him before i transfered to JHH, but 2 friends of mine have gone with him & can not say one bad word. Neither can i.

ETA - His also specialises in high risk & multiple preg.'s.

I have had Dr Greg McGrath from maitland for all my bubbas. He only delivers at Newcastle private now. He is a little on the conservative side, but was happy for my delivery of natural twins to go ahead, even with the second breech - so thumbs up from us.....even if I DID have the first bub 7mins after I got to hospy and he missed it - the midwives were amazing!

Hi, sorry just saw this, might be too late to help you but I used Dr Ljiljana Miljkovic-Petkovic for my first, and Dr Jillian Spilsbury for my second. I would recommend both of them. Only thing about Dr Miljkovic-Petkovic is she is a bit more $$$ than the others seem to be, other that that she is great. Dr Spilsbury was great too, but i have heard she books out really quickly.
