*picks self up from floor*
Nothing helped mine, just trying to eat regularly.
I only came in here because I thought it was a subtle announcement.
Sea sickness bands and Ginger worked well for me in my Second pregnancy - NOTHING worked for me in my first tho! :(

Morning sickness sucks!
eating regular small meals of plain food helps - usually carbs like plain pasta, bread. I find vegemite on toast before i get out of bed in the am helps.
Moving really slowly! Sounds silly but I get very dizzy just having a shower - I cant close my eyes at all.
drinking sport drinks to stay hydrated...once you are dehydrated and tired the n & v is heaps worse. Also ginger nut bickies and ginger beer might help.
Red rooster chips! think its the salt...
I'm having to take maxolon and have had to have IV fluids. Maxolon helps a bit as long as I do everything else and keep away from smells (which is a bit hard as I am a nurse). Hope this helps your friend.
Ciao
:wave:I also had all day morning sickness from mid of Dec 09 untill two weeks ago. I lost 2 kg in 1.5 months. I bought ginger tablets from Blackmore and it seemed to help me a little bit. However, I felt much better after the GP prescribed me " Maxolon". I also couldn't drink any plain water ( at all!!). I could only drink cold milk tea or flappe.
I heard anything with ginger would help, and I also spoke to my pharmacist the early stages of pregnancy, and she said to drink ginger ale, it helped a bit.
Hi girls. I am 13 weeks and stil sick :-( not fun with a 3 yr old in a tow. Tried the sea bands, ginger, vit B12, antihistamines - none worked. My saviour is Zofran ( Ondasetron ) but you need a prescription and it's terribly expensive.
Another thing that helps is salty foods- especially bread sticks, and fizzy soft drinks- lemony one for me like Solo, I am practicaly living on that.
The first pregnancy the only thing that helped a bit wa sthe antihistamines ( Avomine ), but they don't work this time around.
