machine machine machine. You have washed everything already haven't you? If not, do it now not three months down the track.

Not silly at all, asked the same question when I was pregnant with my DS1.
I wash his clothes in the machine ( unless pooey) and use a sensitive omo type powder or I just use normal powder and put the machin on an extra rinse. After he was 4 months I just did it as normal washing, he has never had any reactions.
Although some lttle cute (and usually expensive) things do need to be washed delicately.

not sure why spewiesmum said that. But generally, you shoul wash all bubs clothes before he/she wears the, to remove any dyes, chemicals, dust or irritants, newborn skin is so sensitive and easy to rash up, it's best to be sur and the other reason to do it sooner rather than later, well. In the last month I was too big and tired to think of all these things and time will fly, you could go earlier than expected too.:)

I wash Zaq`s clothes in the machine like everything else but with Purity Sensitive liquid. Had no trouble with that one, Tiah has very dry skin so I use that for her clothes as well, can`t use much else for her as her skin gets red and itchy from some powders..
i have a big bucket (with a lid), i fill it each day with hot water and a little omo sensitive a during day i put the dirty stuff in it(my bubs a very spewy one). at end of day i tip it in the machine along with my toddlers (not the super grotty stuff though) and wash and dry like anyother load. have done so since he came home from hospital.
Yep everything in the machine, delicates in a wash bag....
I prewashed everything, so they weren't unfortable and have all the starchy stuff out of them. I use amolin laundry liquid on her clothes. At 12 months i used regular washing powder and she came out in a rash, so at 2 yrs i still use the stuff.
