For the last couple of weeks DS2 has been acting out of the ordinary. I don't know if it's because his teething or because his having a growth spurt.

His getting grumpy at the drop of a hat and whines a lot. He IS dribbling a fair bit and has a dribble rash on his chin that comes and goes. He doesn't have runny pooh though or red cheeks.

I can see his 2 bottom teeth clearly in his bottom gum, so yeah I dunno.

Also his had his fill for the day and his in bed at 5.30pm! He used to go to bed at 6.30pm, but just of late his absolutely shot by 5pm and boy does he start to get tired and whiny. He has a bath, bottle and his out like a light until 5.30am - 6am the next day.

His usually shot by 8am and goes to sleep once I drop off DS1 at school and I come home and then he has another nap early arvo for a hour or so.

The way his acting is so out of character for him!

It sounds similar to what happened with my DS and as far as I know it was due to teething...unless there was something else I was unaware of? I think growth spurts only last a couple of days, not any longer so I guess it rules that out...

Yeah sounds like it could be teeth :) if you can see them in the bottom gum then its more than likely teeth than a growth spurt.

Yeah it probably is teething, it's been a few years since I have had to deal with a baby who's teething lol.

Well YoungNotDumb just consider that at least after this there won't be anymore for your DS until he's six! And by then he'll be able to tell you what's going on!
