Big Bed

This afternoon, whilst DP was asleep on the couch, Miss Eloise and I converted her cot into a toddler bed and rearranged her bedroom. I thought it was about time, she's nearly 2 and a half! She went down without a hitch, and has now been happily snoring away for the past two hours. DP seems to think that she'll wake up in the middle of the night and freak out, I think she'll be OK.

Did anyone else's little one make the transition to the big bed easily and without fuss? Or do I just have an extremely adaptable child?

No big freak out here - but they do eventually realise they can get up and visit...I think she'll be fine.

Thanks X, we've left the door open, normally it's full on closed (and they have high handles) but we've just pulled it closed iykwim. So I guess if she does wake and actually get up, then she can get out if she wants.
