Just wondering if anyone would be able to recomend a nice place to go for an anniversary dinner near Toombul Shopping Centre or near New Cleavland Rd.

I like Piccolo on Alexandra Rd at Ascot, or Baguette on Racecourse Rd (both sorta pricey mains just over $30)

If you want to be a bit more thrifty: Cafe Lido on Racecourse Rd

There's also a great one on Gerler Road Hendra, The Dining Room, don't think it's as Expensive as the top two.

I've checked with DH, we think the Dining Room on Gerler Rd was very well priced for the quality. A bit cheaper than Baguette and you can BYO (wine at least, which helps as well). And I love that the chef (Mario) pops in from the kitchen to check everything is going well.

I recommend Cosi's along Sandgate Rd, Clayfield (beautiful Italian food and BYO wine). DH recommends the Dining Room and says Mario's cooking is excellent.

I also love Cosi (and they also LOVE kids). Great family dinner venue.:thumbsup:
