What sort of car seat do I need???

Okay I am lost - what kind of car seat does my 2 year old need.

Just going through Big W catalogue and they have one thats up to 26kg with a built in 5 point harness for $198

Or can I just get the normal booster ($78) and the H harness ($49) or does she have to have the built in harness.

(oh and please don't tell me I am a bad mother for not having her in the correct car seat now - simple fact is I haven't been able to afford it and won't have it for a few months after paying off the layby)

I'd be going the convertible booster (the one with the built in harness) because with the new laws she legally needs to be in something with a built in harness unless she is over 18kg.

Just to add from memory the Big W convertible booster is a cut down version of the one I have and its fantastic. Well worth the money.
