View Full Version : SOR- Kidz Paradise on Thursday Anyone?
Hi All
The weather forcast for this week is looking pretty grim :thumbsdown:(showers,rain,cold you name it) so I was thinking of taking Sebastian to Kidz Paradise on Thursday morning at around 9.30-10. Would anyone like to join me?
Kidz Paradise is a Playcentre in Carlisle
It is pretty big with a nice cafe (little kids area, big kids stuff and a bouncy castle thing) Adults and babys under 12m are free, 1-5 kids are $5.95.

I just got told, that its not realli a play centre for little ones, its more for 3 plus...
is that right????
It's meant for all ages but it doesn't have a big area for littlies no.
It's hard to describe.
(It's not like Toddler town)
Sebastian plays in the big kids area but he can't get right to the top

Ok, that's cool... will give it a bash, its more for me to meet new people anyho, damien will just enjoy having children around more than the toys haha

Oh, thats not too good for Aiden if it doesnt have a smaller kids bit. He is at the stage where he needs to be fenced in somewhere! Maybe we will give
it a go anyway, I always spend the whole time running after him and dont get time to chat, hopefully it wont be too busy at that time anyway.
Will let you know at the begining of the week if we are a definite.

It does have a fenced off area for the littlies it's just not a huge area - it has a mini ball pit with a little padded slide into it, a little tikes 8in1 toddler playground and another soft padded climby thing, all in a little enclosure with a safety gate to stop the kids escaping.
the rest of the place is a large multilevel playground with ball pit, slides, flying fox and climby things and next to that is a bouncy castle.
Does that sound ok ?
I think I might be babysitting that day.. but if not, we'll be there! :wave:

Sounds good to me.....Riley and I will be there.....my outside time is becoming limited at this stage....lol....and anything that fences him in is great!!

Cool, that sounds good. As long as I can fence Aiden in it is good! I just cant relax otherwise, which I know is silly but he is all go all the time and wont sit still ever, so if he is fenced in and I can see him without running behind him all the time, then we are both happy!! I will be there, what time?? 9.30 - 10am ish?? where shall we meet? I dont think I have met anyone that is going before.

Haha, either have i, im trying to see if some of the mums i have already met around this area, to come along!! Hehe
I'll be there at 9.30 and I'll attach a Yellow Safety House Balloon to either my pram or the table so every can find us.
(I can't see too many other people there having Yellow Safety house Balloons ;) )

i'll have my hub bub ribbons on my pram! lol and a wiggles backpack, oh and im overweight so u cant miss me!! Not too sure about coming without knowning anyone. How scary haha!

Of course, just when i think that everything is going well....
I have to take my mother to an appoinment at St John Of God Hospital at 10am on thursday, they are going some head scans and blood test for carpal tunnel syndrome.
So Damien and I wont be making it, really sorry to cancel but my mother needs me to be with her at the moment.

Thanks so do i, so tired of all the worrying, and the what if's.
Wont have any answers until tuesday next week.. But atleast the tests are being done now, that i know what is going on, she tried to keep it a secert, and not worry us kids!

I guess you can only wait and see what the tests say, thas the worst part but Im sure she feels heaps better that you are there to support her.

Thanks for inviting us!!! We had a great time too....and even better Riley should sleep for at least 2 hours straight now..:smiliedance:
It was great to see Claire, Aiden, Rhoxie and Sebastian again and very nice to meet Kirsten and Riley too!
Jade had an absolute ball there! She is also asleep (since we left the centre) and I expect she will give me at least another hour.
I hope Aiden bombed out for you too Claire!

really dissapointed i was not there. Claire you jinxed me I woke up with a real sore throat and head cold (DH had it yesterday) and went to work and landed up coming home as I have been blessing my royal throne every few minutes :barf: :barf:

It was nice to see everybody today. Sorry I didnt get to chat but unfortunately Aiden always has some problem or another which means I am otherwise engaged! He had been awake since early and was shattered! He has been sleeping since 12pm so thats good cause I can get some work done now.
Hopefully I will be more social next time.

i went and had some light soup as i hadn't thrown up in a couple of hours :thumbsup: and then laid down and just woke up stood up and had the urge to :barf: so ran to the loo (THANK God to Ensuites) barely made it to the loo to lift the lid and :barf: :barf:. My tummy hurts, my throat hurts and all i want to do is die in peace. I'm hungry but I don't think I will try that again
