OK I have decided to write this post after just changing DS's nappy. But I am not sure if it goes here or the food allergy sect?? Feel free to move it Mods :)
DS is 14 months old, and is fed a varying range of foods - so far I have not come accross a bad reaction from him in regards to foods he has tried. However... yesterday as a little treat I gave him a piece of orange and poppyseed cake, which he has never tried before. He loved it. Today however his body showed me how it didn't like it.
He has just done an explosive poo. It was liquid, and actually SOAKED into the nappy like urine. And went up his back etc etc won't go into any more details  This sort of thing has not happened since he was exclusively bottle fed.
Could he be allergic to oranges? Or poppyseed? If you can even be allergic to poppyseed. Or could it just have been too rich for his tummy to handle?? He is still happy and cheerful, in fact he thought me cleaning it up was hilarious, so maybe it was a once off? Has anyone had this result after feeding their children something with oranges??
