Time is slipping away...

... my baby is growing up so fast!

I wish I could freeze time! I dont want him to grow up. I want him to stay little! I keep thinking how big he is, but I have to keep reminding myself he's as little now as he's ever going to be. He's just gonna keep on growing.

I dont want my baby boy to grow up :crying:

I wish he could just stay small enough to carry around with me forever - he's already 13 kilos, if he gets much heavier I wont be able to babywear him anymore. :(

We were TTC from mid last year, but our relationship is very uncertain at the moment that I wouldn't dare risk getting pregnant. But I think part of me is a bit sad because I thought I'd be pregnant by now. Now I dont know when I'd trust DP enough to have another baby with him, if ever. Its really a 'wait and see' situation. He's doing heaps better, but I dont think I would trust him this side of 12 months, so maybe this time next year, if all is still well, we would think about TTC again.

Though, JUST to make me feel better, Jasper is acting like a baby right now. He hasn't done this for ages and ages. He's refusing to sleep alone. He woke 55 minutes into his nap, and considering he's now on 1 nap, he HAS to have a good one, so I sat with him on the couch and got him to fall asleep in my arms, but every time i tried to put him in his cot he started crying (even with his eyes closed) I think from TRYING to get him to have an afternoon nap and letting him cry I may have traumatised him some :confused: so I took him into our bed and laid down with him. But he keeps calling out for me and I just lay down with him and he falls back to sleep.

So, THANKS JASPER for reminding me you really are still my little baby :goodvibes:

I feel exactly the same. I have been putting F in onesies not big boy clothes haha. On Thursday morning I rocked him to sleep then put him in bed with me eventhough he doesn't cosleep very well anymore and would gave been better in his cot!! I did regret it when he only had a 20 min nap though!

:laughing: Yeah, I changed Jasper into clean PJs this morning, because he looks so much younger in PJs than he does in big boy clothes :o

And he's still asleep!!! I put him down at 11:45!

Aside from the mucking about with wanting to be cuddled, this 1 sleep thing might be the way to go!
