View Full Version : Yellow urine... like really... yellow

Hi there jsut wondering, I have like yellow concentrated urine... I know it can b from dehydration but i have been drinking water like there is no tomorro... I have little back pain but put that down to the fact of being close to have bub... I am due for a c/sec on the 24th of this month so I was wondering, should i get it checked out. I have clinic on wednesday. And bub is moving a bit.. not alot but i assume that is from the lack of space in there lol... let me kno ur experiences and such... I did suffer from eclampsia with ds1 which lead to enar kidney failure but i havent had n e symptoms that i am aware of such as the swelling and headache of eclampsia...

Do you take B vitamins? They make your pee yellow. Otherwise, I don't know, sorry :o

yep if you are taking vitamins that does it to me every time.. i take a pee after a vitamin tablet and go woah that is a bit much :laughing:

I agree with the above about vitamins. It could also be from infection. I don't get a fever with infections and neither does DD so the doctors are tricked every time with us.

Dehydration, or B vitamins :)

Dehydration tends to make it a dark yellow, where B vits tend to make it a bright yellow (i remember peeing after taking a dose of B vits and it was Fluro Yellow, i freaked out lol)

certain foods can do it too. McDonalds mustard sauce does it to me every time. :yes:

Thanks for all the replies... I gather it must be dehydration (so will get more water into me) as the wee is a dark yellow and i dont take vitimans.... But thanks again for the replies...

Maybe go buy some Gatorade or Hydralite, it is proven to rehydrate better than plain water.
