View Full Version : Sydney Dentists
Anyone know of any good ones?
I do have a dentist, but do know he wants to get a little but more out of me, I am no fool and won't be scammed!
I am so depressed over my wonky teeth
If possible dentists in the city or no further than like 20kms out of the city!

My dentist is pretty good. I don't know if he overcharges though cause he's the first dentist I've ever been to in Australia. :) He is real nice though and describes himself as conservative, which means he will try and save all teeth. He doesn't go on an exraction frenzy like other dentists!!! His name is Dr. Stephen Chimes and his clinic is on Old South Head Road, Rose Bay, Sydney. PM me if you want his number and address. You can maybe inquire first. :)
I used to see Kurt Dean at Bondi Junction Medical and Dental Centre (cnr Bronte rd and Spring St). He was great. He's a young guy and would only do what was needed at the time. He would then tell you what you need, give you a typed out quote of how much each thing would cost so you could plan ahead and go back when you wanted to. He didn't break the bank either. Oh and he worked a few late nights so you could plan it if you needed DP to look after bubs. (hope he's still there  )
ohh great girls thank you close by too :D I'll check them out!
Probably too late with this reply and your teeth are all fixed up now ... but I'll keep typing anyway, just to keep myself company :D
I use the dentist at the uni - it's a tiny little practice but has the nicest people, cleanest offices and pretty decent prices even if you aren't a student. They have a sister practice in Newtown somewhere that is open weekends, too.
Anyway, I think it's called "Wentworth Dental Surgery": ph: 9692 8900 (as the phone number comes up during a simple google search, I don't expect it matters that I put it up here).

Hi M&P.
I go to a guy called Rob Howard on 44 Frenchman's rd at randwick.
I've known him as a friend for about 10 years and he's super kind and friendly.
He's been very generous to me.
Great dentist too.
