im just so happy i needed to post somewhere....
After 5 years and 3 kids i finally got surgery to fix my aorta on the 27th, which will now makes a new birthday my reborn day as my heart was stopped for 20 minutes during a 6 hour long surgery. only got home wednesday the 3rd and still in a fair amount of pain due to being cut along the left side and ribs pushes apart, instead of through the breast bone.
This is my aorta before surgery (decending down from the heart...... like a candy-cane shape), isnt it interesting how the body attempts to repair itself, with extra veins created to supply more blood to the aorta. The narrowing measured 6mm instead of 20mm which caused all kinds of problems, im glad its repaired just wish the pain would go so i could finally feel the benefits :D
