After going through about a dozen day care centres in the last fortnight, ive come to the decision that the Trip's arent going to daycare any time soon.
Today was the first time ive take one or either of them with me. After seeing Aleah playing with the other kids, ive realised how small they really are. She had NO chance of being able to defend herself for a toy or my keys when another child took them from her.
Everyone else was about the same age, maybe a bit old by actual but SO SO much bigger!! Like 4kg's bigger! Sitting, crawling & pulling themselves up.
Things my 3 cant do.
They'd still be one the floor playing with each other just the same as they do at home.
So until they can hold their own in the battle of toys, their staying home with me.
My sanity will just have to wait.

can you maybe find a babysitter to just come in once or twice a week to give you a break? that way you can get away, but feel safe in the knowledge that your little ones aren't being bullied by far bigger babies?
Cause i fully understand you not wanting to leave them with the other kids, but for your own sanity, you probably do want a break.
Still don't know how you do it! so good on you :hugs:

Personally I think you made a wise decision. If you don't feel 'right' bout leaving them in daycare it just isn't right!
My dd was 6mths n almost crawling when she started. I chose her centre because it had a small nursery with 12 children Under 2 and 4 staff.
I made sure she hold her own bottle n was starting to put fingerfood in her mouth like biscuits etc. Because I worried if she was hungry n staff were busy etc.
It is a big step leaving your babies with strangers and I'm sure soon enough you will feel comfortable.
My dd is almost 3 now and never wants to leave day care :-)

I could but i dont want to.
Just have to keep powering on & hope one day i can let them go. My anxiety really would not cope.

Thats the other thing for me, i feed them all at once & have a production line going. Carers wouldnt do that.
They will be going to preschool when their 4.
