I just don't know what to do anymore....

For the past two weeks the girls have been playing up really bad. Yesterday Abby started crying for daddy.. (he is coming home in 2 weeks for 2 weeks) and Mikayla is doing the same..

Every time i talk to them they say don't talk to me, or if my mum talks to Abby she says no Mummy talk to me and cracks. She has been throwing herself around if she doesn't get her own way.

I feel like i am doing something wrong, and they are stressing me out to the max. I am on anti-depression tablets, and i am feeling that they aint working but i dont want to go on anything stronger as i am on 100mg a day... I feel like i should just leave them and go away, and they will be better off... :crying: :crying:

Please help me..

Sorry if i have put this in the wrong spot

Oh honey.... I wish I could help! :hugs:

See how things go when Ben gets here and well see what comes of this posting. Maybe if he were there to help you, you might actually start to enjoy being a mum!

If not well we will talk ok.... :hugs:

sorry to hear u r so down. medications take a few weeks to work but not all work for everyone. go back to your Dr and discuss trying something different. also counselling may be worth considering, to help u deal with your negative thoughts. depression can affect our ability to cope and to parent. your girls may be reacting to a combination of things, but if their tantrums get them what they want, they will continue with them! get the support u need to overcome your depression first, then if u need to u can look into strategies to deal with your girls' behaviour, such as positive parenting. and no, your girls are not better off without u, that is just depression talking! there is lots of help out there, you just need to make use of it. it WILL get better! good luck.

:hugs: for you.
i agree with what squishysmum said medication can take a little while to work and it can be a bit of trial and error with finding one that works for you.
i hope everything is better for you over the next few days till your DH/DP comes home.
