Can someone tell me what subfertility means?

I went to the doctors this arvo because I feel Im not ovulating and hes referred me to a gyno and all the letter says is my medical conditions, that my period comes every 4- 5 weeks and hes got 'subfertility?' at the bottom ??

he didnt even hesitate.. just wrote the referal and I dont understand it..

Anyone got an idea what this means? :confused:

Sorry I can't help you as I don't know what it means either. My suggestion is to do a search on google, you will probably find quite a bit of info there.

Hi hun,

Subfertility is when you arn't exactly infertile or fertile, you're in between (I'm pretty sure anyway). If you told him that you think you're not Oing thats prob why he has written that down. I have PCOS and have long cycles and don't always O. My obgyn put me on Clomid to make my ovaries release an egg and thats how we conceived DD. Try not to worry too much. You will be fine. At least you're getting your AFs...I'm sitting on CD36 :rolleyes: and still no AF. He should've also got you to do a BT to see if you Od this month. When you see your gyno I'm sure you'll get answers, who knows you may be Oing and just missing it?
