but interested to know what your bub weighed on his / her birthday
my little premmie is 6.8 kg and she just turned 1 (real age not corrected) .. i know she is small but was just wondering how small...

Both DD n DS where about the 10-11kg at 1
But keep in mind they where both born at 4.1 n 4.5kgs

There is a lil boy at work that was 3mths premmie n he is 15mths n is still in 000's

Maybe its cause she was premmie

my 12 month old is 8.5kgs.. but her sister was only like 7.9 when she was that age and remained around 8kgs until she was about 17 months old.

Ds was 12kg when he was 12 months old. And so is my niece. My ds is now 16kg at 3.5

Remember you need to correct age for their weight :yes:

It can make a huge difference.

My son was between 9 and 10kg on his first birthday.

He was 4.025kg at birth (40+11).

He's pretty slim.

my DD was 8.6kgs at 12 moths exactly

DD was 8.2kg and DS was 9.5kg

ollie is one on the 17th and weighs a bit over 12kg atm, he was born 4kgs

DD was around 9kg at 1 and now at 3 she is still only 12.5kg. She was 3.75kg at birth. DS is 12kg at 1 and was 3.96kg at birth.

i should say i am not worried at all by DD low weight. She was 875g at birth so is almost 8 times her birth weight.. doing really well!!!

DS was 10.6kg when he turned one, was glad to see he evened himself out a big given he was 4.87kg at birth!

ds2 turns 1 on wednesday, i weighed him yesterday 11.98kgs.

ds1 was 12kgs at 1yr old..he is now nearly 4 and a half and 19kgs.

Ds1 was 6.1kg at 12 months corrected was 758 grams born... 14 weeks early

DS2 was 12.7kg at 12 months and was 5.05kg born full term...

you need to go by corrected age for premmies, not actual age... it can make a big difference.
DS is 7.6kg (weighed 2 days ago) he is one in 10 days... he was fullterm.

Yea that is tru... That weight of 6.1kg was my sons weight at 12months corrected.. However you only go corrected until they are 2 then you go by their actual age...

DD was 3.5kg at birth & 11.38kg at 12 months.

I don't have the actual 12 month reading, but looking at DD's charts and her weights up to then, and the fact she weighed 10kg at age two, she was likely to have been around 7 - 8kg. She was full term, and weighed 2.4kg at birth.

DS is going to be heavier than that... he weighed 4kg at birth, and is presently sitting just on 7kg at age 9 months.

DD weighed 9kgs when she turned 1. She's almost 15 months and still only weighs 9.3kgs. I'm sick of everyone telling me she's "too small" for her age.. She is tall, lean and has a rather small head.. But she is healthy! She has lovely chubby cheeks and has rolls on her legs and a round tummy and eats like a horse so it's not like I underfeed her.. She's just smaller than "average" :)

DS was between 10-11kg. Now at 21mths he is between 14-15kg :)
