Hey all you have proberly covered this but I really wanted to ask how many of you have PCOS or had it also how did you deal with it, how long did it take youto get pregs or how long have you been trying and if u are pregs did u try anythng to help get pregs,cos this is my problem at this pont. Sure its not as bad as it was because I have lost weight but its still hard 2 get pregs

Hi I have PCOS.

But wanted to say I actually have 4 kids! So having PCOS does not mean you will find it impossible to get pregnant.

I didnt realise I had it for my first two pregnancies. Diagnosed around the time I had my 3rd child. It took me 6-9months to get pregnant.

I had short gap between 2&3 and think this helps as my body was still in baby making mode. I now think having long gaps is not a good idea with PCOS.

For baby number 4 I had a long gap, but was on Metformin for PCOS. This time I got pregnant result 6wks after starting to try. We were pretty shocked it was that quick.

I know several ladies who could not get pregnant but metformin worked even after clomid failed.
Id try Metformin before I would try anything else.

Metformin is the usuall treatment for most ladies with PCOS these days and it helped me keep my weight stable too.
