I think I may have stuffed this month up. By all calculations, I was due to O on Monday/Tuesday. We BD'ed Saturday and Sunday.
But yesterday and today I've been getting niggly pains and my lower tummy is a bit tender ... this could be a sign of O, couldn't it.
Bugga bugga bugga .... what a duffer.
When you say 'calculations', what do you mean? Are you temping, using OPKs,etc?

nothing overly scientific. This is my first month off the pill, and based on a 28 day cycle (which I normally am) O should have been Monday/Tuesday.
Lets see what happens next weekend, when AF is due.
Mummamoo - I had short cycles (eg around 25-26 days) prior to the pill, but when I first came off the pill, they were longer than normal (eg 28-29 days) and then gradually got shorter as the months went on. So its possible that you O'd later than normal this month. It can take a while to go back to normal after coming off the pill. But if you're getting pains now, maybe there's still time to BD!
It depends on how relaxed you are about trying to conceive I suppose. If you really want to pinpoint O, then maybe start thinking about using OPKs or temping, at least until your cycles develop a normal pattern.
My friend and I have decided to get pregnant together cos we both wanted kids. I've been trying for 2 months with no luck but she fell pregnant straight away! Has anyone got any tips on methods that work for them?
Relax and don't try too hard!
We have wasted so much time on trying and both times when we've stopped 'trying' we've gotten a BFP srtaight away.
Cliche I know, but it's worked for me!
We were originally going to start trying in september but decided to start earlier. I'm a first time mum and haven't had a lot to do with pregnant women so I was kind of hoping I could be pregnant at the same time as my friend (who has had 2 other kids) so that I could talk to her about everything and we'd be at similar stages. Now I'm disappointed and just want to cry! I can't stop thinking about what I could be doing wrong. :crying:

If your o today then why not bd today? Put a pillow under your bottom and hips afterwards, pull your knees to your chest and stay like that for about 15 min or more. Someone told me this and it worked first time after trying for 10mnths with my first:fingerscrossed:
