Hello,

I am aware that this forum is aimed at parents and their concerns about circumcising their children, however, as I cannot find many useful forums on this issue, I was wondering if you could help an adult in this 'fragile' matter.

I am 21 years old. I have an intact, but damaged foreskin. The reasons for this damage is due to phimosis and my own frustration of trying to retract the foreskin at a young age. For the last 5 years I have suffered with this embarrassment and as a result am still a virgin. I am not here for pity, merely just trying to get some useful advice on to what options I can take.
I was pretty dead set on being circumcised because I see this as a good medical solution, but it seems every other site I seem to look at is totally against it. What am I to do? Is it okay in a situation like mine? I really don't want to lose the foreskin, and would love to find an alternative that could in some way allow me to retract my foreskin and heal any damage I may have caused by my own naive approach to the problem. I am just confused and in need of any help someone can give me. My doctor is no help, btw.

Thank you,

Ben

Get your doctor to refer you to a urologist. Most things are fixable - but not always by a GP.

If your doctor won't refer you, find another one that will.

Steroid creams and a gentle stretching regimen are a good start, but it's possible that you might need extra help - perhaps a dorsal slit, if it's severe.

Really severe phimosis can require circumcision, but for any decent urologist, this will be a last resort.

Good luck with it!

I don't really belong in this area but I'll try and give some form of reply.

...See another doctor - if you feel comfortable that is.
It would be worth researching doctors/surgeons that take on this sort of procedure and get advice from them.

You may not need anything major done, a surgeon would more then likely offer advice and options that would help you.

Good luck, I hope you find a few more answers then what I've been able to offer.

what exactly is 'damaged' on your foreskin?

There are natural cures to most damages that were done and I know of a few of them.

Can you retract? is there scarring? is it to tight? don't be embarrassed to talk about it, we are all anonymous here

I know this may sound weird, but from what you list there are stretching excersizes that you can do to make your foreskin retractible.

Surgery is not needed so far as I can tell but I would probably need to get you into an IM chat to be sure. In america a Uroligist would probably advise circumcision but I will let you in on a little known secret.

You are not the only one with phimosis and this issue.

The human body is amazing, it has a capability to reproduce cells through agitation.

When someone is going in for a skin graph and the doctor needs more donar skin they will put a salene balloon under the donar area and fill it with salene. To stretch the skin.

This stretching excersize actually causes mitosis. The division and splitting of cells, so the doctors use this technique to GROW NEW SKIN to transplant to the needed area.

The penile skin has this ability, some men who have been circumsized are actually going throw a regrowing process through stretching the shaft skin. (I know this works, I am in the process)

What you would need to do is stretch the areas that need to grow new cells. If this is the tip of the forskin, the top isn't wide enough? You would need to stretch the opening.

You do not stretch it till it hurts, just enough to put CONSTANT pressure on it. To make it wider so to speak.

This is not an 'easy' process and can get irritating at times. It isn't comfortable but it isnt painful. You can stretch it using anything that will maintain a constant pressure.

I have to stretch for 3-8 hours a day to get results from stretching, but I noticed new skin growth within 2 or 3 months. If you get circumcized you will spend longer than that in the recovery phase because the head of your penis will need to get used to touching foreign materials.

This is worth a shot. If there are 'other' issues feel free to let me know. i will pm you with my hotmail email address and other information.

Also the steriod cream will help in the stretching process as well, it is designed to loosen the skin. Bethzamoine or something like that, I cant remember the exact name but it starts with Bethz something

there is help for you, the surgery WILL fix this too, but you WILL lose the foreskin.....
