Keiara started at 2 for 2 or 3 days a week.

Be time she was 3 she was going 5 days a week because I was working.

Daycare was great the director at mine realized that Keiara needed more and refereed her to all theses extra services so she would get visits off people and have one on one time with her, It really was great.

Keiara love daycare she was never teased and always had friends the preschool really did go above and beyond to accommodate for her.

My son went 1-2 days a week after I quit work (it was 5 days a week before that), and before he started early intervention.

I made a point of finding childcare that was mainly 'normal' children, but had teachers who had training in SN (so important, not all childcare centres have them). Same for his kindergarten.

Associating with 'normal' children was so important as it gave him exposure to how children without special needs acted. Too many children with SN are cradled in a world with only other SN children and have no examples of how other children without SN act. My son, like many SN children, is a real mimic. He picked up a lot of the characteristics of the other non-SN children, which I feel has assisted in him fitting in his 'normal' school.
