Trolley Mate

Has anyone purchased one of these gadgets for the shopping trolley? If so how much did you pay and also what age did your bubs use it from.....thank you

I am guessing you are talking about one of those things that go in the sitting part of the trolley to prevent any contact?

If you find out can you tell me too. Trolleys are so icky.

I purchased a clean shopper trolley cover, for around $39 at a baby store. I know you can also buy them online at www.cleanshopper.com.au

You can start using them when bubs can sit up in the trolley.

I love it as it covers the whole seat area of the trolley and also has a couple of little pockets to put toys, biscuits etc

i git mine for $50 off ebay its great and since it came with a lil pillow ds can sleep in it while we are out to

$25 on ebay. DS still sits in it if I remember to take it with me. They can sit in it till they no longer sit in trolleys.

Bug started using her cleanshopper as soon as she could sit in the trolley at is still using it at 17 months. I love it as it covers that whole area and there is also room for her to have her cup and a snack sitting next to her! The trolleymates that ive seen are ok but i dont personally think they are as good as the cleanshopper

I got mine from ebay too. Brand new for $25 bucks. DS started using it at 10 months, but he was really tiny so i was using the capsule before that.

he loves it now though., and keeps him happy the whole time.

Just be careful..... i got back to the car last week and discovered that he had stashed a block of cheese and a packet of pasta in there! Walked straight out of the shop without even realising!

Trolley monster off a lovely lady on ebay for around $55...comes with pillow..i could lie bub across seat for bottle, seatbelt,hidden pocket for keys and wallet, keyloop in pocket,toy loops on front,handle cover,it clips onto seat and is more fitted than cleanshopper but yes a bit dearer but money well spent:fingerscrossed:

I bought a Trolley Mate (www.trolleymate.com.au) for $35 from a baby expo. The think I like about it is that you can lay it out flat and fold it to use in the trolleys with the baby capsule on it (which we are doing at the moment) and other stuff like fold it into a pillow as well as setting it up for the trolley seat for when bubs can sit up.

We started with a Trolley Mate and used it twice before replacing it with a Trolley Monster. What I didn't like about the T. Mate was that it doesn't cover the sides of the trolley. The first thing DS did was grab the uncovered bit and wrap his lips around it with me doing a "ah, ah, dirty, icky, ah,ah" dance in the background.:eek:

Can I just say how much I love bubhub & the people who post on here :) I recently posted on another forum in reference to these trolly covers, only to be shot down for thinking they were a good idea. I was made to feel like I was the only person concerned about the content that comes into contact with the ol' shopping trolley :eek: .
