Hi Ladies!
I am sure that you have heard this a MILLION times but congradulations again on your pregnancies (and good luck to all of you who are trying!!!)
My name is Hayley McGeever and I am in my first year of my Bachelor of Midwifery and loving it!! Part of the requirements we have to meet is to "follow through" a number of different women. This means that I will be present at your antenatal appointments, the birth (if you do not feel comfortable with having me at the birth, you do not have to) and the postnatal period.
This is such a wonderful program to be part of, I have attended 3 "follow through clients" births and I have to say I have shed a quiet tear at each, birth really is a truly wonderful thing and I am so grateful to any of you who would consider letting me be a small part of your unique experience. The relationship that I have formed with these wonderful women is something I truly did not expect.
If you would like to meet first, to see if I am someone you can feel comfortable with I am more than happy to oblige. Maybe we could go for coffee one afternoon? Any stage of pregnancy is fine however 35 - 36 weeks may be a little too late.
